We have dear friends in the Midwest. Having lived some years in Ann Arbor and later in Chicago, we do not miss the endless winters or the long commutes.

However, many experiences and relationships we still hold dear and close to our hearts.

That's why Chicago and the Midwest are central to the plot in The Unraveling.
